Surrender assistance

We're here to help — honestly.

We understand that families sometimes face circumstances that make caring for an animal difficult. Completing a surrender request does not guarantee immediate placement. Space, health, behavior, species compatibility, safety, and available resources must all be considered.

What to know before requesting

The rescue may have limited capacity.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
Emergency cases may require animal control or veterinary care.
Wildlife cases should go to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
Dangerous animals may require additional evaluation.
Owners may be asked to continue temporary care.
A surrender donation may be requested but will not determine emergency safety decisions.

Tricia's Haven Animal Rescue is not animal control, an emergency veterinary hospital, or a licensed wildlife rehabilitation organization. For immediate danger, animal cruelty, a loose or dangerous animal, injured wildlife, or a veterinary emergency, contact the appropriate local authority, licensed wildlife rehabilitator, or emergency veterinary provider.
