Our story
A home built for animals no one else was ready for.
Tricia's Haven began quietly, with a heart for animals that had been overlooked. It has grown into a small rescue in Danbury, New Hampshire that welcomes ducks, chickens, dogs, rabbits, and other small animals in need of safety and care.

Tricia has always had a heart for animals that are overlooked, unwanted, abandoned, or unable to remain in their previous homes. What began with helping individual animals gradually became a home filled with ducks, chickens, dogs, rabbits, and other small animals in need of safety and care.
Some animals arrive needing temporary support before finding a new family. Others require medical care, behavioral rehabilitation, specialized attention, or a permanent place to live. Tricia's Haven was created to make room for both.
We believe saving an animal means more than removing it from danger. It means providing patience, stability, responsible care, and the best possible path forward.

About Tricia
Her animals make her heart happy.
Tricia will tell you that her animals make her heart happy. She's a boy mom, a wife, and an animal lover who loves family more than anything.
After losing her mom at a young age, Tricia struggled to find herself. Being a mom and rescuing animals has always soothed that pain and given her purpose. She shares the love and care she remembers from her mom, Patricia — the woman she's named after — with every animal she takes in.
Animals have been her safe haven. She just wants to share that love with animals in need, and with those who love them.
